Do I need an account to play?
Players aged 13 and over can play Dough Down as a guest. Children under 13 need a parent-managed profile. Sign in to Garcadium and launch the game from the portal when you want permanent account saves across devices.
Can children under 13 join?
Yes, through a parent-managed profile. A verified parent aged 18 or over reads the notice, returns a signed consent form, and waits for review. After approval the parent sets the child’s password. Children use generated names and do not need email addresses.
Can I play Last Light yet?
Last Light is in development. Its game page describes the current prototype; public play and account saves are not available yet.
What does my account save?
For Dough Down, your account stores gems, owned cosmetics, equipped items, and medal progress. It does not resume an active multiplayer match.
How do I connect Dough Down to my account?
Verify your email, sign in here, then use Play Dough Down. The game asks you to confirm connecting the account. Any existing guest progress can be claimed by that account once. Close an active match before switching accounts.
When is progress saved?
The game sends earned rewards and progress to Garcadium during play and when you leave. Check the save status in the game. If a save is pending or failed, keep the game open and try again. Unconfirmed changes can be lost if the server restarts.
What happens to guest progress?
Guest progress belongs to the browser’s game wallet. On the current hosting it can reset when the game server restarts. Clearing cookies can also disconnect you from that wallet. Connect it to a verified account to claim the progress that still exists.
Why does the game sometimes take a while to open?
The current game server sleeps after being idle. Its first visit may take about a minute to wake it. The portal and your confirmed account saves remain separate from the running match.
How do private rooms work?
Create a room in Dough Down and share its code or invite link. The host starts the match when everyone is ready. A room code is an invitation to a match; it is not an account password or save code.
Can I change devices?
Yes. Sign in to the same Garcadium account on the other device and launch Dough Down. Confirmed progress is loaded from your account. For reliable saves, finish a session before starting another.
I did not receive my verification or reset email.
Check your spam folder and allow a few minutes for delivery. You can resend verification from your player profile, or request another password reset link. Only the newest verification link will work.
